Installation steps:
1) Turn the housing cover 90° clockwise and pull it out from housing, pull out the ceramic cartridge from the cover.
2) Remove new ceramic cartridge from packaging.
3) Insert new ceramic cartridge into housing cover and turn the housing cover counter-clockwise.
4) Flush ceramic cartridge by pumping and discarding the first 0.5 liter water.
Note：
1.Sea Water, Carbonated Beverages , Industrial Polluted Water and Alcohols can not be filtered. Applicable water resources: brooks, ponds, puddles and tap water.
2.Inspect the ceramic for cracks after long-term use, dropped and after cleaning. If the filter shows cracks it will no longer protect you from micro-organisms and needs to change.
3.NEVER use any soap or detergent to clean the ceramic cartridge.Protect clean water outlet of the cartridge and output hose against pollution.

1) Ceramic cartridge must be cleaned:
While you use, output will decrease slowly as the ceramic cartridge pores get clogged by bacteria and other pollutants. Please don't throw it away. The ceramic cartridge is designed for repetitive cleaning and long term usage.
2) When does it need to be cleaned?
As water quality and water use varies, please wash the ceramic cartridge when you feel the output of the filter is too slow to meet your demand.
3) How to clean?
Turn the housing cover 90° clockwise (Fig. 4) and pull it out from housing,
Pull out the ceramic cartridge from the cover. Clean the ceramic cartridge with water, if necessary with the supplied abrasive paper.
